The 2nd September marked the 100th anniversary of the great Bill Shanklys birth. To celebrate the life and times of Bill Shankly Liverpool FC hosted a dinner on Saturday 7th September.
Fisher AV had the pleasure of being part of this by providing the Audio Visual equipment. Equipment supplied included a 4 speaker PA, microphones, 50″ plasma screens and a technician for the evening.
The dinner was hosted by BBC presenter and LFC fan Colin Murray and attended by some of the Shankly era players, Ian Callaghan, Ian St John, Ron Yeats to name but a few. Entertaining the guests with his DJ’ing skills was George “Voice of Anfield” Sephton.
Guests were served an authentic version of the meal served at Shanklys “Thank You” retirement dinner 39 years ago.
There was lots of reminiscing, laughs and anecdotes and a good night was had by all.
